Nihat Arkan, Chief Executive Officer
Nihat Arkan is chief executive officer of SA2 Worldsync. Nihat has more than 20 years of international experience helping businesses optimize supply chain operations while leading global companies that provide sourcing, logistics, collaboration and trade management services.
Nihat joined SA2 Worldsync in 2008 from co-founding company Agentrics, where he was senior vice president of global customer management responsible for all regional strategies, business development, customer acquisition and operations.
Nihat has extensive experience and working knowledge in the global economy, having supported customer strategies in Asia-Pacific, North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Throughout his career, he has resided in the U.S., Switzerland, Turkey, Japan and Germany.
Nihat has an MBA in international business management from Averett College, Danville, Virginia, U.S., as well as a degree in international finance.
Ulf Adebahr, Managing Director
Ulf Adebahr is Managing Director of SA2 Worldsync. Since 2005, he was Managing Director of SINFOS GmbH, where he led the company to its position as the leading European data pool provider.
Moreover, Ulf is a member of the PIRONET NDH executive board since May 2000. Herin, Ulf takes decisive responsibility for the implementation of the PIRONET NDH product portfolio associated with key accounts. In June 1999 he joined PIRONET from Hewlett-Packard.
Rolf Stark, Executive Director
As an executive director and officer, Rolf Stark is responsible for joint ventures and franchise-partnerships of SA2 Worldsync. He leads sales and new business development in new countries and emerging markets. Also he acts as a key account manager for global SA2 customers.
Rolf has more than 18 years experience in the field of IT-based business process consultancy. For more than 10 years, he has had executive management responsibilities in international sales, consultancy and collaboration. He joined SA2 Worldsync from the German predecessor company SINFOS GmbH, where he was a founding member. From 2002 he was responsible for the international expansion of the former German SINFOS data pool solution. As managing director, he established business with GS1 organizations and partners in about 10 countries and helped make SINFOS the leading pool provider in Europe.
Rolf has been a member of various national and international standardization bodies of GS1, ECR and the Global Commerce Initiative (GCI). Rolf Stark holds master of business administration diploma from the University of Trier with a specialization in marketing and market research.
Lorraine Knight, Regional Director, Western Europe
Lorraine Knight is Regional Director, Western Europe, responsible for global data sync strategies, regional sales, solution implementation and key account management. Lorraine joined SA2 Worldsync from Agentrics where she managed business development and customer implementations in Europe for the global data synchronization business unit since 2002.
Lorraine has over 20 years of retail industry experience in supply chain, sourcing, acquisitions and special projects focused on item data management.
Before Agentrics, Lorraine served as B2B manager at Tesco, the largest retailer in the U.K. While at Tesco UK, Lorraine was part of the team that founded the Worldwide Retail Exchange GDS offering. She also held positions at Sainsbury’s and Boots.
Gina Baker, Regional Director, Americas & Asia
Gina Baker is Regional Director for North America and Asia. Gina joined SA2 Worldsync at its launch in January 2008 and is a widely respected industry leader in global data synchronization standards and solutions with her work at Walgreen Co., Best Buy, and Safeway.
Gina heads the SA2 business unit in North America and Asia and is responsible for sales, solution implementation and account management. She works closely with the customer community to define new offerings and partnerships that will support growing needs and offer significant return on investment.
Gina joined SA2 Worldsync from Agentrics, where she led professional and implementation services for the GenSync business unit. She has over 10 years experience in supplier onboarding across a variety of B2B ecommerce solutions.
Prior to Agentrics, Gina was the manager of supplier solutions at Metiom (formerly Intelisys Electronic Commerce) responsible for building supplier adoption programs for the Ford Motor Company, Texas Instruments, the State of Maryland, and Commonfind (an education marketplace). Gina graduated from Salisbury State University with a BS degree in marketing.
Burkhard Lorry, Regional Director D.A.CH.
Burkhard Lorry is Director Regional Director D.A.CH. (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and heads all sales activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Burkhard joined SINFOS GmbH in 2005 where he worked as key account manager.
Prior to SINFOS, he held leading positions in EDI and master data management at Mosaic Software AG and Pro DV Software. Burkhard has about 15 years IT experience in strategic sales, project management and business development. He made his studies in information management at the universities of Kaiserslautern and Worms.
Dirk Bräuninger, Director Operating and Support
At SA2, Dirk Bräuninger heads operations and support. In 2005, he moved to SINFOS GmbH from PIRONET as project manager, responsible for creating the central database application of the German-wide deposit system to fulfill the German packaging ordinance of one-way drink packages.
Dirk has more than 20 years of IT experience in the fields of software development, database administration, project management and key account management. He started his career as an IT consultant at Cap Gemini Germany in 1986 and debis Systemhaus. In 1999, Dirk moved to PIRONET NDH as key account manager involved in web-based application development.
Björn Bayard, Director Business Strategy and Community Management
Björn Bayard is responsible for business strategy and community management. Since 2005, Björn was responsible for product management at SINFOS GmbH, where he created the leading data pool, based on pirobase PIM, a standard software for product information management from PIRONET NDH. In parallel, Björn was PIM director at PIRONET NDH AG.
Björn has worked in the field of standardization of product information data for more than 10 years. Prior to his engagement at PIRONET NDH, he was founder and CEO of Cataloom AG, where he developed a PIM software that was later integrated into the PIRONET NDH portfolio. Björn made his studies in informatics focusing on software technology at Dortmund University.
W. Grant Kille, Director Global Standards
Grant Kille is director of global standards for SA2 Worldsync. In this role, his key responsibilities are gathering and communicating Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) standards-based product requirements and their implementation within the SA2 global data synchronization offering.
Also Grant represents SA2 Worldsync in the GDSN and Global Standards Management Process (GSMP) activities and workgroups.
Grant has over 40 years of retail experience, with nearly 20 years as both a user of standards as well as a participant in the development of global standards. Grant joined SA2 Worldsync from Agentrics, where he performed a similar role. Prior to Agentrics, he was with JCPenney, Sears and has run his own business.
