GDSN

GDSN is the GS1 Global Data Synchronization Network, built around the Global Registry, GDSN-certified data pools, the GS1 Data Quality Framework and GS1 Global Product Classification. GDSN-certified data pools – like the SA2 Worldsync data pool – provide a powerful environment for secure and continuous synchronization of accurate data. As a result, trading partners always have the same information in their systems, and any changes made to one company’s database are automatically sent to all of the other companies that business with them.

The move to international, GDSN-based master data exchange is very easy for SA2 Worldsync customers: data can be converted into GDSN-compatible data sets, and the corresponding message choreography implemented. Further components of the SA2 Worldsync GDSN services are the registration of master data in the global registry, the publication of data for authorized data receivers and the execution of master data updates and/or corrections.
